  • Responsibilities

    PURPOSE STATEMENT

    Acting as the front of the house for the entire facility, Guest Services set the international standard for Superyacht customer service. Team members provide security for high profile vessels while also creating a resort like atmosphere by assisting with daily crew activities, acting as point of contact for US Customs, monitoring crew amenities, providing transportation needs, assisting with vessel provisions and facility logistics.  This person must display humility and professionalism at all times, personifies Rybovich values, and represents the Rybovich brand in positive way. 

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Assist Marina staff with all arriving/departing vessels, while maintaining an active presence on the property/docks.
    • Continuous Patrol of grounds on a 24/7 basis, while being mindful, and/or report potential safety hazards, unauthorized entries, malfunctioning security systems or procedures and respond accordingly.
    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office for preparing Logs, Incident Reports, and End of Shift Reports.
    • Able to provide information on Rybovich Property, on site activities surroundings events and local attractions.
    • Able to follow instructions or adapt to customer parking needs
    • Politely enforce Rybovich and MARSEC (Maritime Security) standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Carefully screen employees, customers, sub-contractors, and guests who are seeking access into the facility, while ensuring that all visitors are registered correctly with vessel and company policy.
    • Able to responds to emerging customer needs without sacrificing safety. This may include; bulk trash collection, on/off loading of provisions or hardware, and set-up/break-down of all Rybovich events.
    • Ability and willingness to operate the Guest Service Shuttle as well as assist with M/Y Café needs such as coffee and food deliveries.
    • Ability and willingness to clean and maintain all department assets.
    • Predictable and reliable attendance

    • Able to use 2-way radios and UHF radios

    • Able to handle multiple phone calls from separate phones

    • Is able to multi-task on multiple electronics

    • Is able to sit for extended periods of time

    • Is able to stand for extended periods of time

    • Maintain a Professional/Polite and active appearance.

    • No visible body alterations including, but not limited to: tattoos above the neck, brands, body piercing other than traditional ear piercing for women, tongue piercing or splitting, tooth filing, earlobe expansion and disfiguring skin implants.

    • Able to remain active for extended periods of time

    • Possess a positive attitude with people and wide range situation/requests

    • Ability to make quick decisions based on customer trends or available information.

    • Ability to communicate in polite and clear manner

    • Ability and willingness to adapt to customer/facility needs

    • Must be willing to assist guest and maximize satisfaction without sacrificing safety.

    • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including but not limited to; cold, heat, rain, and extreme sun.

    Required Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Hospitality, hotel, resort, customer service and/or security experience is preferred.
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Clean driving record (no points) required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to remain in a standing position for up to 8 hours.
    • Ability to walk quickly to/from facility locations up to 600 yards distance.
    • Ability to stoop, crouch, pull, push, reach, hear, near vision, kneel, talk, stand, grasp, walk and lift up to 50 lbs are required.

    Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.              Drug Free Workplace
