The Groomer works under the direction of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager and performs grooming services including: brushing, bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, expressing anal glands, tooth brushing, and conditioning of animals. Groomers must follow and comply with all company policies, procedures and standards. Responsibilities include solid customer service skills and the ability to verbally communicate effectively with each customer. Groomers are responsible for keeping a clean and well maintained facility to work in.

Required Skills
The Groomer must be customer service driven with an ability to handle both external and internal clients with professionalism. Must maintain high standards of cleanliness, as well as patience and genuine care for animals. Must be proficient in all breeds and cuts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent and frequent basis. Pet/animal interest or background is essential.
Required Experience
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in pet grooming. A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is preferred.
