    Gray Tier Technologies, LLC a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is seeking a Solutions Architect (Part-Time) who will support Cyber Security technical requirements for Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other various Federal/Civilian Agencies.

    • Under the guidance of our Director of Proposal Management, lead technical solution development for federal government proposals. 

    • Contribute to win themes development. 

    • Work closely with our Director of Proposal Management and other Tech Writers/Editors to create technical writing to assist and drive the strategic focus and alignment of client technical solutions. 

    • Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert (SME) to support developing solution strategies with the Business Development team and Technical onsite SMEs with current cybersecurity delivery work: risk management framework (RMF), assessment & authorization (A&A), penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, etc.  

    • Assist in winning new business by working cross-functionally with sales and delivery to develop client proposals and presentations around process and solution options, clearly explaining technical concepts for shared understanding to facilitate decision-making. 

    • Provide subject matter expertise in the creation of proposal templates and be able to describe complex and technical topics in a clear, concise, and accurate manner. 

    • Review and edit documents and materials that support technical documentation. 

    • Write new content as needed to support document evolution. 

    • Take initiative to anticipate proposal challenges and contribute to team efforts without managerial prompting. 

    • Engage Business Development/Capture Lead and Technical/Operations SMEs to develop and refine responses to government solicitations. 

    • Interview pursuit stakeholders to obtain information, develop appropriate content, and garner approvals. 

    • Independently draft documentation for partners and customers: e.g., orals deck, White Papers, and other materials for a pursuit.

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION 

    • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or master's with 0-2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree. 

    • Expertise in a variety of cybersecurity technical areas including but not limited to cyber hunt, penetration testing, risk management framework (RMF), vulnerability management, assessment and authorization (A&A), and incident management. 

    • Experience developing technical cybersecurity solutions for winning federal government proposals. 

    • Excellent written communication and grammatical skills. 

    • Excellent organizational skills. 

    • Experience working directly with technical SMEs. 

    • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. 

    • Strong eye for grammatical, spelling, and other editing errors. 

    • Ability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and confidentially. 

    • Ability to review and correct material for content, style, and compliance with internal and external standards. 

    • Ability to analyze solicitation requirements and identify strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in draft response material. 

    • Excellent oral communication skills. 

    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office: with emphasis on MS Word and Excel
