ABOUT THE POSITION

This role supports the administrative team with fulfillment from order entry to processing and carrier pick up. Candidates should be comfortable analyzing large amounts of data to accurately manage product allocation and shipping schedules, eliminate duplicate and incorrect orders, and change orders as necessary while working against firm deadlines.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Order Entry Specialist to work with appropriate vendor representatives to resolve issues and provide timely resolution to our customer service team. This role will require daily interaction with Manufacturers, Vendors, and 3PL Shipping Partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process incoming customer orders and verify pricing and availability
• Submit purchase orders to the manufacturer for processing
• Verify details on the manufacturer's order confirmation
• Obtain shipping quotes, prepare shipping instructions (BOLs), and schedule pick ups for ready orders
• Communicate with the vendor to ensure orders are allocated promptly
• Resolve any issues with delays related to material availability and production
• Work cohesively with the team and provide weekly reports on progress

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of order entry or administrative experience
• Intermediate to advanced SAP and/or MS Excel skills
• Bachelors Degree or higher
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
• Organized ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines\
