Administrative Assistant
Location: Midtown, NYC
Office Type: Nutritional Specialist // NO in-person contact with patients: all contact via phone or zoom.
In-office: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm
2+ years of medical office experience a plus
The ideal candidate will be:
- Extremely organized, resolving issues in a real-time environment.
- Experience with typing and with Microsoft Office products such as EXCEL spreadsheets; knowledge of Med iSOFT a plus.
Knowledge of posting on social media is a plus. - Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent
communication skills. - Keen attention to detail and strong documentation skills are required.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and maximize
patient satisfaction. - Project a positive, proactive approach to achieving goals.
- Possess the ability to filter information and determine appropriate action based on operational guidelines.
Job Description Responsibilities Include: - Communicating with patients, as well as other healthcare offices, via phone or zoom.
- Continue strong relationships with referring physician offices.
- Investigating insurance denials and working with the billing department
- Strong documentation skills in resolving Insurance issues
- *Investigate insurance denials, aging reports and working with billing & accounts receivable department
- *Experience with setting up and managing business social media accounts
- Proactively addressing the needs of the business and managing office operations to company expectations.
- Managing appointments, calendars, conferences, etc.
- Administrative duties, such as filing, faxing, preparing charts and treatment records, invoices, data entry, and mailing projects.
