Great American Restaurants is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join the Support Center team. In this role, you will support all areas of Marketing with a focus on social media content and guest relationship management through digital channels. Successful candidates will be creative, organized and highly motivated to embrace Great American Restaurants’ vision and implement it into our marketing strategies, communications and public relations activities. This full-time position requires a 45-50 hour work week.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
Responsible for all social media content including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn for individual restaurants, concepts and/or parent company. This includes 38+ social media accounts company wide.
Embrace grassroots marketing with hands-on content creation, including ongoing in-house generation of unique photos and editing Manage relationships with in-restaurant social media content providers
Digital guest interactions including reviewing sites and guest feedback management
Execute strategic marketing campaigns as directed by the Director of Marketing for the company, its individual concepts and specific restaurants, both internally and externally
Website content management and internet presence on platforms such as Google Business
Create and develop unique content for in-restaurant marketing materials
Coordinate contact database for email marketing
Track and analyze marketing analytics
Assist with special promotions and events
Handle additional special projects as needed Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality or guest-centric environment
Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign
Experience with social media management platforms (bonus points for exposure to AgoraPulse)
Experience in photography is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as high aptitude for internet research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and control project tasks and deliverables
