This position is grant fundedPosition SummaryThe Great Hearts National Professional Development department is reviewing applications for an E-Learning / Professional Development Intern. The PD E-Learning Intern will have the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, high-impact project for teacher professional development, gaining hands-on experience with project-management, e-learning development, and instructional design principles.The ideal candidate is interested in a career in e-learning technology or instructional design, is willing to learn new skills and technologies quickly, and is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Duties & Responsibilities·       Perform digital filing/record-keeping, database creation and management, and reporting·       Draft, edit, or proofread communications and other digital assets.·       Assemble asynchronous and hybrid course content, including webpages and activities.·       Perform quality assurance reviews on course content.·       Research and produce reports on project-related topics.·       Edit, upload, and embed video content using basic video editing techniques. Additional tasks will be identified by department manager. Qualifications, Strengths, Competencies·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) ·       Ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems and technology·       Well-organized, thorough, and efficient·       Excellent interpersonal communication skills ·       Strong writing, editing, and proof-reading skills·       Available approx. 20-30 hours/week Additional RequirementsType of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Level fingerprint clearance card.Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
