    Job Description

    Pre IPO startup company Great Home Tek Inc. is currently searching for an experienced Senior Sales manager with some marketing, business development background to work with our headquarters in Campbell California, but remote work is absolutely OK. The ideal person should possess Acumen Sales Skill and focused in the Bay Area/Western region, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for the specified area sales territory via management of Brick & Mortar resellers & tier one Home Builders engagement of Great Home Tek Inc. Smart Automation Technology platform.

    Qualified candidates will have 5+ years sales experience in electronic components with a smart device background preferred.

    • Sales coverage to cover Tier 1 and regional accounts in the Western Region.
    • FOCUS RETAIL CHANNELS, for stand alone smart products in Bed Bath & Beyond, HOME DEPOT, Lowes, COSTCO & Walmart
    • FOCUS on new channels with tract HOME BUILDERS to increase sales, manage regional sales representatives assigned to the territory and account base, actively engaging with customers and channel partners; prefer to have prior experience selling to either: Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, Costco, Ace OR Meritage homes, TOLL BROS, KB Home, LENNAR, Clayton, LGI, Pulte
    • Meet or exceed sales objectives in territory by effectively utilizing all resources available & working with executive team
    • Focus on new revenue opportunity and expansion of existing business thru opportunity pipeline tools
    • Manage and track new revenue opportunities thru to design win collaborating with offshore affiliates where applicable
    • Collaborate with sales management in development of sales plans and strategies
    • Interact with appropriate internal and external customers to implement sales and marketing strategies
    • Perform regular business/specific account reviews at the rep level
    • Identify and resolve customer issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalating issues to management as appropriate
    • Develop territorial and strategic account plans to support revenue targets consistent with company short term and long term objectives for revenue, product goals

    Effective Sales Administration

    • Develops and provides management with accurate monthly product forecasts
    • Ensures that all administrative responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and that corporate policies and procedures are adhered to
    • Develops and provides periodic reports as defined by management
    • Implement aggressive sales strategy and achieve sales goals.
    • Continually monitor the quality of representation and ensure that it is optimized in each state.
    • Support agent network on products, technologies, and applications.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key specifiers and end user customers within the region.
    • Monitor bids within the territory and take appropriate actions
    • Provide regular market feedback to marketing and engineering.
    • Represent company at trade association meetings and trade shows.
    • Direct large quotation strategies.

    Minimum Experience Requirements

    • Requires some specialist experience (5+ years sales experience minimum)
    • Completion of an undergraduate program (BA or BS, technical degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
    • Deep knowledge of signaling and LED technology
    • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
    • 4-year college degree preferred
    • Public speaking/product presentations/ training experience required
