The ideal person should possess a Computer science, programming and development subject matter expertise in writing firmware and Arduino ideally with the following skills: UI experienced development Arduino Library Manager experience, NodeMCU 1.0 ESP12E The Adafruit_GFX library, Adafruit.* for Arduino prior experience programming with GPIO interfaces OTA firmware upgrade knowledge and experience programming micro processors (ESP8266 based) to another processor reviewing the functionality of IOT devices via HTTPs The first step the App will have to take will be to upgrade the firmware in the devices to support the App. To do that, we'll need to enable the AP, connect to it from the App, enable OTA update mode, then update the firmware via the App. The (future) app-capable firmware will need to be hardened for network access and include support for the App to set things like SSID, Password, Controller registration, API keys, etc. Company Description Pre-IPO startup company is currently searching for a Fabrication Lab Expert to work for our headquarters in Campbell California.
