OVERALL FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION: The primary focus of the bike repair tech/sales position is on the sale of outdoor and bike equipment while creating and maintaining long term loyal customer relationships. Qualified candidates must have proven retail sales and bike repair experience. Products knowledge must include one or more of the following areas: * Cycling equipment * Skis & Snowboards * Kayaks and Paddleboards * Camping Equipment * Technical Apparel * Technical Footwear ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: * Act as a primary salesperson, responsible to engage and assist customers according to their needs. * Be pleasant, courteous, and perform duties in a professional manner. * Strive to meet or exceed weekly and monthly store sales goals. * Complete bike repair tickets as they come into the store. * Assist with accurate and timely receiving, pricing, tagging, and merchandising of all inventory according to established procedures. * Assist with accurate and timely packaging and shipping of all orders, repairs, and transfers according to established procedures. * Participate in stocking, cleaning and organization of the store and stockroom. * Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Store Manager on an as needed basis.
