  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy
    • Identify new market opportunities and lead the efforts in pursuing these markets to enhance revenue growth
    • Cultivate strong relationships with potential clients, stakeholders, and partners to build a robust pipeline of business opportunities
    • Lead negotiations and help close deals
    • Establish, and manage the business development team, setting the foundation for future firm growth
    • Build an efficient and technology-enabled sales process
    • Collaborate with partners to align the business development strategy with the firm’s broader strategic goals
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Provide regular reports on progress and forecasts to partners, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Travel to conferences as well as other sales and networking opportunities, as needed

    Compensation Information:

    • Salary commensurate with experience
    • Competitive commission structure

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in a business development leadership role, preferably in the HR consulting industry or a related field.
    • Demonstrated success in generating leads, winning new business, and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
    • Strong understanding of the nonprofit sector and experience in developing strategic partnerships in this area.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a preference for taking action and initiative
