Job Description

Greater Works Christian School (GWCS), a private Christian School in Monroeville, PA for students in the Threes Program through 8th grade has immediate openings for MULTIPLE CANDIDATES to fill positions at the elementary level. The candidates will be personable, organized, flexible, passionate about providing Christ-centered academics, and have good communication skills. The candidates should foster and facilitate our students' intellectual, social, and spiritual development. Requirements:

· Implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school’s curriculum.

· Use appropriate instructional strategies, activities, and materials.

· Create a classroom environment that meets the needs and interests of diverse learners.

· Desire to work in a Christian community.

· Passionate for Christian education that inspires students.

· Familiarity with instructional technologies and strategies.

· Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

· Have a heart for children and learning.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or master’s degree in elementary or middle-level education

· PA Certification in teaching

· Current Act 34 Clearance

· Act 151 Child Abuse Statement

· FBI Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting Clearance/Act 73

Salary and Benefits:

· $24,000

· Employee discount for students attending GWCS

Schedule:

· Full-time

· 8 hours/day

· Monday-Friday
