Greco and Sons, a leading Midwest Italian food distributor, is a seeking a DISTRIBUTOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE for the Door County area and surrounding territories. We have a need for an outgoing and reliable individual. Responsibilities include promoting the company’s products, as well as building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers. The main focus is to assist our customers to achieve their success while achieving sales and profit goals established by Greco and Sons.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning & organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.

· Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet the customer needs

· Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers, based on business needs and goals

· Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within the assigned territory

· Keeps management informed of by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses.

· Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

· Recommends changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

· Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Applicants must be friendly yet assertive, professional and have outstanding people skills

· Successful candidates must have a High School diploma

· 2-3+ years food service sales experience

· Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.
