    Job Description

    The position's primary purpose is to "assist the Marine Corps' Training and Education Command in the implementation of the Joint Training, Exercise, and Evaluation Program." The T2 Analyst will develop and conduct the following products and duties:

    Essential Duties

    • Provide on-site functional and programmatic support to CG TECOM and Head, Joint, Interagency, and Multinational Branch, G-3, TECOM in the design and implementation of Joint Training, Exercise, and Evaluation Program (JTEEP) initiatives, specifically the Marine Corps Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) Program at Quantico, Virginia.
    • Provide input and assistance into training analysis, evaluations, and reviews related to JNTC and JTEEP requirements via measures of effectiveness (MoEs). Lessons learned after-action reviews (ARRs) and on-site observations.
    • Provide input and assistance to fully support the JTEEP, focusing on the operational JNTC component, the Joint Assessment and Enabling Capability (JAEC), and the Joint Knowledge Online (JKO).
    • Provide support in the development of metrics and assessment processes that align with and support the TECOM Vision and Strategy.
    • Support the Marine Corps in leading Component Interoperability Training.
    • Provide support to HQMC Marine Corps Plans, Policy, and Operations and Marine Forces related to JTEEP issues.
    • Update existing TECOM, Marine Corps, and Joint directives and processes while being familiar and proficient with TECOM's current task management tools and the Joint Staff Action Process system.
    • Provide subject matter expertise concerning Pre-deployment Training Programs at Marine Corps training programs, including interagency training.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Master’s degree and six (6) years of subject matter experience or Bachelor s degree with ten (10) years subject matter experience.
    • Attendance at a professional military education institution/program (resident/non-resident), such as Senior SNCO Academy, Command and Staff College, and/or Top Level School.

    Experience

    • The ideal candidate will be a former Field Grade Officer or Senior SNCO with experience working with Marines, Special Operations Forces, or Joint Staff.
    • Experience as an Exercise Designer desired.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
    • Able to design and write clear communications and present training programs.
    • Proficient in Windows-based computer applications and MS Office
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • JNTC Program

    • National Security Policy and Directives
    • Joint Operating Concepts
    • TECOM experience
    • Marine Corps Expeditionary Force Development System
    • Evolving Marine Corps Concepts
    • Commandant’s Planning Guidance-Marine Corps Mission, Structure, and Vision & Strategy

    Additional Information

    • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
    • Daily travel in the local area during the workday (including the use of a personal vehicle).
    • Ability to obtain or have a security clearance.
    • Required to perform work in connection with a covered contract and therefore must comply with Safer Federal Workforce standards. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
