    Green Day Power is seeking detail-oriented, Residential Solar Installers to join their Field Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing Solar Systems on rooftops or other structures in a timely manner while utilizing the best installation and safety practices.     Job Duties/ Responsibilities

    • Assemble all components of a residential solar system
    • Prepping layout & following plan details
    • Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment and effectively seal penetrations
    • Maintain a clean work site and safe working environment
    • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment & utilize safety practices at all times
    • Ensure job sites are left clean
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications Requirements

    • 1+ years of residential solar experience and/or HVAC, Roofing, or related fields
    • Must have electrical and roof racking experience
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
    • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
    • Must have a valid state driver's license and a clean driving record

    Physical Demands

    • Use their hands and fingers to grasp, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
    • Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
    • Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time including walking and running
    • Full ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, twist, or reach out
    • Repeat the same movements
    • Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
    • Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired
    • Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position
    • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)
    • Able to work safely with heights on ladders, stairs, poles or on rooftops and in confined areas
    • Able to lift (50 lbs or more), pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
    • Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
    • See details of objects that are less than a few feet away to determine the distance between objects
    • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
    • While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side
    • Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls using hands, fingers, or feet
    • Understand the speech of another person
