Green Home Systems is looking for our next Accounts Payable Specialist to come aboard our team in Northridge. We are searching for top-tier talent with ambition for our promotion from within model. We have a beautiful glass office headquarters in the same parking lot of La Fitness, Chipotle, Five Guys & many more for all your recharged lunch breaks.

** ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST:**

HQ NORTHRIDGE Ca IN OFFICE ONLY M - F ~ 8am - 5pm (Dual Monitors)

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for payment services using GHS system in a high volume, high accountability and highly confidential environment. This individual is responsible for overseeing, managing and providing leadership for the accounts payable unit within the HQ in a professional manner. This position is responsible for coordinating the processing of payments and settlements of supplier invoices, check requests, expense reports and ad hoc payments and ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines and federal and state regulations. In coordination with other members of the HQ, provides assistance to employees and vendors regarding any accounts payable related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing the day to day policies and procedures governing the payroll/AP functions.
• Perform duties relative to the facility’s overall payroll/AP function.
• Process and verify time cards, etc., on a timely basis.
• Maintain an individual payroll record for each employees earnings in accordance with current regulations governing such records.
• Maintain payroll deduction authorization records for each individual employee.
• Prepare payroll checks in accordance with current pay periods to assure that employee checks are received on a timely basis.
• Verify work schedules against time cards when necessary.

Qualifications:

• at least 3 - 5 years experience in Accounts Payable or other related fields
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to build rapport with all employees
• Strong leadership qualities

** Requirements**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3-5yrs of experience working in accounting
• Must exercise good judgement, discretion and confidentiality with regard to agency affairs
• Must enjoy and work effectively with diverse constituencies (business community, corporations, foundations and religious organizations)
• Has a commitment to Harbor Interfaith Services’ mission
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Computer experience and understanding of database programs
• Efficiently manage multiple projects
• Experience with CRM software
• Must be computer literate
• Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Comprehension of conflict resolution

The average Accounts Payable Clerk II salary in California is $52,851 as of December 27, 2022, but the range typically falls between $47,766 and $58,522.

Green Home Systems: $20/hr = 41,600/yr Between $30/hr = $62,400/yr

Our HQ approximately 105 person staff in the beautiful glass office building and half of those are sales development representatives. The remaining are project managers, marketing & finance department, etc.
