  • Responsibilities

    GreenForce is currently looking to hire for Team Leads, that will run our trim crews at our clients' facilities in and around the Eugene Metro Area, but also outside of the area.

    Team Lead Responsibilities

    TEAM SAFETY

    • Assure safe access to production facility and gather team

    • Familiarize yourself with other employees

    • Determine location of restrooms,entrances and exits

    • Attempt to contact employees that do not arrive after first 15-30 min of shift - Use Deputy message board and/or contact info

    • First Aid and Telecommunications

    DETERMINE CLIENT POINT PERSON ON SITE

    • Learn names and develop rapport with facility contacts and/or management

    • Introduce yourself and team

    • Familiarize yourself with your environment and communicate with team

    SITE RULES AND OLCC REGULATIONS

    • Determine sign-in procedure and badge requirements

    • Smoking areas and policy

    • Break area(s)

    SITE PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS AND METHODS

    • Work with Site Manager and gain understanding of production task and client goals and concerns

    • Assist team with obtaining production equipment, workstations and getting started

    TEAM ASSESSMENT AND WORKFLOW ASSIGNMENTS

    • Get a feel for things before you make big choices

    • Make good choices on who does what!!

    • Delegate, Guide and Produce

    NEW EMPLOYEES (EE) PROCESS

    • Ensure ee understands standards and protocols per site

    • Station ee next to GF veterans for extra support

    • Regular ee check-ins for quality control

    • Ensure ee has team lead phone number and Production

    GREENFORCE STANDARDS, METHOD AND TRACKING

    • Employee responsibility to adhere to GF policies and protocols

    • Implement clean, organized and efficient production methods and lead by example

    • The lead role is both production and leadership- achieve balance

    PRODUCTION AND QUALITY MONITORING

    • Periodically, as needed, observe individual performance. Client standards, quality and pace.

    • Use GF cylindrical containers when possible so production pace can be monitored visually

    • Assure teammates are working cleanly and efficiently

    ADJUSTING ASSIGNMENTS, TRAINING AND COACHING

    • Our best resource is each other

    • Pair more experienced employees and other leaders with those that need help

    • Adjust assignments to meet overall goals and maximize use of individual strengths while working to improve areas that need work

    • Look for the positive first!! Help those that need it- We work as a team

    MEAL PERIODS AND SHORT BREAK FACILITATION

    • Determine break times, locations and protocols.

    • Assure team members return to production when breaks are complete

    EQUIPMENT AND END OF DAY

    • Lead is responsible for maintaining equipment inventory

    • Mark all supplies and equipment with GF sticker or green tape as necessary

    • Assure equipment and work areas are cleaned as needed

    • Work with Production Or Equipment Manager to assure site has needed supplies

    REPORTING - Completing Daily Lead Sheet

    1. Record production stats throughout shift as needed, total production for each employee and report to assigned manager via text message and photo of Daily Lead Sheet.

    2. Report absentees, late arrivals and early departures on Daily Lead Sheet

    3. Report needed supplies before you run out

    4. Report any notes you have about production or site on Daily Lead Sheet

    5. Record production stats throughout shift as needed, total production for each employee and report to assigned manager via text message and photo of Daily Lead Sheet.

    6. Report absentees, late arrivals and early departures on Daily Lead Sheet

    7. Report needed supplies before you run out
