JOB TITLE: Director of Imaging (Cath and Interventional)

OVERVIEW:

Seeking a Director of Imaging to report to the Chief Operating Officer, provide leadership and management direction for Imaging, Cardiodiagnostic, Vascular, Coronary Catheterization, Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiologic services to insure the efficient, effective and quality delivery of inpatient and outpatient services.

Income Potential: $145,000 – $162,000 / yr

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years of imaging leadership experience
• Proven management skills in a full service Imaging Department
• Radiology Technologist Certification or equivalent
• Ability to clearly communicate with all levels in the organization
• Demonstrated team building skills
• Expertise in Imaging Technology in healthcare
• Full knowledge of budget preparation and monitoring, federal and state accreditation requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's Degree
• Ability to work in a highly productive and fast based unit;
• 5 years clinical leadership experience in an acute-care setting with Imaging, CT, PET scan, Ultrasound , MRI; leading quality initiatives and process improvement initiatives.
• Willing to stay a minimum of 2 years in the role or longer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the clinical, technical, administrative and financial functions in accordance with system policies and goals
• Be accountable for planning and development of appropriate strategic plans and relationships for the delivery and expansion of care
• Facilitate collaborative working relationships with programs and departments within and outside the institution to assure appropriate quality and timely testing for patient/clients
• Work collaboratively with department Medical Directors to insure optimal inpatient and outpatient service delivery to patients and medical staff
• Be an expert on imaging testing, processes and procedures, reimbursement, referrals and regulations
• Perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission and philosophy
