JOB TITLE (#24993): Dental Hygienist Reviewer / Contract - Downstate, NY
Minimum of 2 years experience in the provision of clinical services or in quality improvement/utilization reviews
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist Reviewer to fill an opening with a Non-profit organization located in Downstate, New York
Requirements of the Dental Hygienist Reviewer:
- Must be qualified, and actively credentialed/registered as a Dental Hygienist in New York State
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of clinical services or in quality improvement/utilization reviews. Experience in pediatrics is required
- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively with clinical and administrative personnel.
- Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must have the ability to travel to on-site review assignments.
Benefits of the Dental Hygienist Reviewer:
- The salary for this position is $55 / hr
- This is a Part-time position
Responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist Reviewer:
- Completes all pre-review activities, including scheduling, notification, review of previous monitoring information, and other protocols as required.
- Review patient records for all required components and time frames.
- Executes site observation and notes any deficiencies.
- Makes appropriate recommendations as a result of monitoring activities.
- Provides technical assistance to personnel where appropriate.
- Utilizes data management tools appropriately to record monitoring findings.
- Prepares provider monitoring reports in accordance with monitoring findings.
- When assigned, participates in case debriefs and/or accepts additional assignments as per request of supervisors
