Hello We are looking for a nanny/house manager to replace our beloved nanny of 15+ years who recently moved to Las Vegas. We live right near UCLA. Nanny Details (75% of job) - Girl and boy (7th and 10th grades) - For the months that the kids are doing remote school, this person needs to make sure they are successfully on their classes, monitor that they are on task and ensure that lunch meetings/clubs/afterschool "sports" are attended - Take them to sports practices, playdates, errands after school etc. - If school resumes in person, would be responsible for picking children up from bus/school and potentially driving to bus in the morning depending on the schedule. - Prepare lunches for both kids daily and clean up afterwards (not needed when school resumes in person) - Prepare the family dinner (normally with parent) House Manager Details (25% of job) - While the kids are in school, there is obviously a lot of downtime. We are looking for an extra set of hands around the house for two full time working parents (mom works mostly from home during Covid) - Work with the kids to clean, organize and tidy their rooms and do laundry - Go to market, put away groceries and run other errands - Light cleaning (including keeping the kitchen clean) - Take small dog for walks Other Details - Position can be live in or live-out. We have a separate bedroom and bathroom with its own entrance if the candidate chooses to live in - For Live in- room and board is provided - We provide a car to use, insurance, and food - We are looking for someone who is upbeat, positive, flexible and doesn't get frazzled easily - We are a fun household, but we also like structure and routine - We are looking for someone who can commit AT LEAST until June 2021, but ideally longer - Regarding COVID, we take this seriously and are only willing to work with candidates who socialize outdoors only and with masks. We may require regular covid tests. - Pay is dependent on live in or live out and experience but will be market rate
