    We are currently searching for a Manager, SAP Center of Excellence based in our Kulpsville, PA facility.  

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Manager, SAP Center of Excellence will perform a variety of functions encompassing the SAP ERP environment and must be able to manage the technical support of the SAP ERP application environment via in house and managed support; build and maintain stakeholder relationships; as well as participate in a leadership role in road-mapping for the future upgrade to S/4HANA.  This person will develop and lead the SAP Center of Excellence and will partner with business leaders across the organization to understand, including gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases and proposed projects as well as prioritize and manage the SAP project portfolio.   This position oversees and manages the direct team responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the SAP Application environment.   This person will be primary person responsible for the partnership of ensuring the successful delivery of FICO solutions that meet the Business requirements. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  

     

    • Manages and mentors SAP Application Managers and Analysts
    • Contribute to and execute the business roadmap for the journey to S/4HANA
    • Work with business partners to ensure demand is prioritized, and projects and solutions are aligned with architectural principles and strategic goals.
    • Analyze business scenarios and identify opportunities for improvement through automation and/or business process redesign.
    • Drive efficiency and agility in the SAP platform by leveraging SAP ERP best practices, while reducing customization and assessing IT trends within and outside the organization.
    • Provides SAP subject matter expertise and be accountable for business requirements gathering, Application / configuration requirements specifications, design, configuration, and testing, and ensure solution design meets those business requirements and follows an established SDLC methodology.
    • Lead & project manage the SAP Center of Excellence
    • Collaborate on the development and continuous improvement of Master Data Governance policies and guidelines
    • Ensure SAP support structured are established and capable to support the SAP Program build & subsequent deployments in order to ensure optimal balance of internal & external resources
    • Ensures team is maintaining documentation and change control
    • Meets regularly with Business Relationship Management team and PMO Manager to ensure alignment of projects
    • Budgetary responsibility for COE, including forecast and roadmap
    • Participates in architectural decisions and provide input to enterprise architecture team

     

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required, Master’s degree a plus.

     

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

    • At least 15 years of administration experience spanning SAP Applications, information services, systems and technology, with increasing level of responsibility throughout.

    • 5+ years direct management/supervisory experience required, preferably in a CoE model

    • Experience managing at least two full-cycle SAP implementations one of which is S/4HANA

    • Requires good understanding of business processes, coupled with the ability to effectively partner with functional managers to effectively manage portfolio

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    • Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
