    Job Summary:

    The Regional Market Manager (RMM) develops and implements region specific consumer focused partnerships and marketing initiatives to achieve brand growth goals. The RMM leverages expert knowledge of regional consumers and local partners to build brand culture and amplifying IMX objectives. A top priority for this position is to manage our regional sales teams, connecting region activity to retail. The RMM provides direction and leadership to a team of internal and agency resources within his/her region.

    Primary Responsibilities/Activities:

    Cultivate Culture

    • Lead, model and build a highly-engaged team culture

    Develop Authentic Regional Brand Partnerships

    • Source new partnerships
    • Create and collaborate on brand activations
    • Build and maintain current relationships
    • Enable brand presence where culture is being created

    Lead Field Connectivity with Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX)

    • Connect local partnerships to national IMC
    • Amplify local activation to national stage

    Create and Manage Regional Brand Programs

    • Develop market activation strategy
    • Budget management and objective setting
    • Responsible for all regional brand activation

    Leverage Retail Activity & Manage Sales Team

    • Leads brand communication in region
    • Builds relationships with regional retailers
    • Feet on the street programming
    • Engage with regional bottler

    Required Competencies:

    • Strong team management, analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal/written) with the ability to interact effectively internally as well as with external contacts
    • Possess high level of professionalism
    • Be highly self-motivated and well organized
    • Be a team player that naturally enjoys supporting a team
    • A problem solver that has the ability to identify problems and offer solutions
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must live in and have a strong geographic knowledge of the market (either Los Angeles or San Francisco). Familiarity with the West region is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Health & Wellness or a related major
    • 3+ years of Field Marketing of Brand Marketing experience, beverage or CPG preferred
    • Budget management and accountability
    • Project management and/or event planning experience
    • Prior sales experience a plus
    • Prior experience training and managing a team
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some early mornings, nights and weekends with ability to travel
    • Licensed driver with a clean driving record
    • Adept at Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Suites
    • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and research
    • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional fast-paced team environment
    • Highly organized with experience in professional relationship management

    Position Financials (Annual):

    • Base Salary: $93,500
    • Bonus: 10%
    • Auto Allowance: $672
    • Communication Allowance: $1,800
