Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are seeking a skilled and empathetic Greenhouse Hand to join our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and greenhouse operations. As a Greenhouse Hand, you will play a key role in guiding clients through their healing journey.

Duties

Grow new plants from seeds; water, fertilize, and protect plants from pests and diseases

Request the purchase of seeds, fertilizers, plants, tools, and other needed supplies

Plant when to plant each species, forecast the demand to determine plant populations, and design planting and care schedules

Prepare soil for planting, and plant or transplant seeds, bulbs, and cuttings

Position and regulate plant irrigation systems in the greenhouses

other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in growing and caring for plants

Familiarity with seasonal cycles, plant species, and proper care requirements

Ability to perform manual labor in varying temperatures and humidity

Consistent monitoring of plants, identifying issues early

Dependability in following schedules for watering, fertilizing, and greenhouse maintenance
