Ellis Home and Garden in Texarkana has an immediate opening for a Greenhouse Manager. We are a family owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling in a great atmosphere with competitive pay. We are looking for hard-working, energetic, and dependable people to join our team.

Job Description: Primary job functions will be to learn the day-to-day operations of our Greenhouse. This will include, but is not limited to: providing excellent customer service at all times, loading/unloading plants/merchandise, caring for and watering plants daily, making live plant orders based on inventory needs, keeping accurate inventory levels at all times, assisting customers with plant purchases, answering any questions that customers may have regarding live plants, following all safety procedures, and maintaining a clean & organized work environment. Other job functions will include: providing excellent customer service to customers throughout the store, performing any other assigned duties around the store, loading/unloading customers’ vehicles & vendor delivery trucks, stocking/pricing merchandise, and maintaining a clean & organized work environment.

Job Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Greenhouse/plant knowledge required

Ability to lift 50lbs.+/- as needed

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Retail experience preferred

Computer knowledge required

Pay: starting at $15 per hour
