We are seeking a Part-Time Attorney to become a part of our team! We are a varied-matter law practice that includes commercial real estate, estate planning, receiverships, and litigation, etc. We offer a flexible schedule and the opportunity to join a small, friendly team in a busy and interesting practice. This position is ideal for someone reentering the legal workforce with an opportunity for full-time hours.

The candidate must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and licensed and in good standing with the State of Illinois. Three years ’ experience preferred but not mandatory, strong people skills, professional demeanor, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
