OBJECTIVE

We're looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Developer to join our team.  This position offers the opportunity to join a firm which has seen at least 30% YOY growth multiple years in a row, being recognized twice on the prestigious Inc. 5000.  You will leverage, own, and execute our proven business development process within one of our product lines to book millions of dollars per year with a generous compensation structure which includes uncapped commissions.  To be successful, you will need to be skilled with the art of generating meetings from existing leads, building and maintaining relationships, and closing business.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will close multi-million-dollar deals by implementing Grier's proven capability-driven business development process.

1. 1. Educate potential customers on the capabilities of your product line
2. 2. Identify your targets and formulate an approach and strategy based on their key stakeholders, their gap, the value our solution provides them, and any concerns you would be able to anticipate
3. 3. Establish a bridgehead with the customer's buying unit and/or key stakeholders
4. 4. Craft mutually beneficial solution with the customer
5. 5. Shepherd the customer through the acquisition process

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-4 years of experience with B2B sales
• Strong listening skills
• Ability to connect naturally with others
• Experience generating meetings from leads
• Observable self-motivation, work ethic, and tenacity

LOCATION

Owings Mills, MD – this role should expect an estimated 20% regional travel.  For days you are not traveling, you will have the choice between working in the office or working from home.
