ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Griffin Alexander, P.C., a mid-sized Morris County law firm seeks an Entry Level Associate Attorney with 1 to 3 years experience to join our team of professionals as we continue to grow, by providing all our clients with best possible legal representation and timely services. The best candidate to fill this position will have the desire and willingness to maintain our reputation for excellence.

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING): · Trial preparation and Court Appearances required for cases in NJ & NY · Attendance at monthly board meetings for community associations as needed · Drafting and preparing contracts, motions, briefs, judgments, and memoranda · Corresponding via phone and email with clients, homeowners and tenants · Legal Research using Westlaw
QUALIFICATIONS: · Must be licensed in New Jersey and New York (Pennsylvania a plus!) · Entry level attorney · Very organized and computer savvy; knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite · Excellent research and writing skills · Able to thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment while meeting deadlines

Our services to associations include construction defect litigation, as well as other litigation matters, collection of delinquent unit owner maintenance fees, ADR, interpretation of governing documents, drafting resolutions, contracts and amendments to governing documents. For our apartment clients, we handle evictions from preparation of required Notices, to the filing of eviction complaints, court appearances and warrants of removal. We also draft leases, assist in solving landlord/tenant disputes and represent landlords at rent control hearings and in Civil Rights actions. In addition, our firm also provides services in Municipal Court Law, Wills and Real Estate closings.
