    We are currently seeking an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE DATA.  The Executive Director Enterprise Data is an experienced leader in Enterprise Data & Analytics to partner with business and technical teams to develop and execute the enterprise data strategy (people, processes, technology), building enterprise technical and organizational capability to enable and support lines of business with data centric strategic initiatives and capabilities. You will be considered a leader in the field of Data & Analytics and will be able to think strategically, setting and driving consensus on direction, but also acts as a technical leader in managing a data management team to deliver business results.  You will work with business leaders to ensure that value from the exponentially growing data assets realized and robust data management and governance is implemented across the enterprise. 

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Lead Enterprise Data Management, Analytics and Innovation function
    • Advise senior functional leaders and stakeholders on strategic exploration supported by analytical insights and support them to define a strategic vision to realize potential value
    • Build and manage the enterprise data management & analytics platform comprising of data ingestion, data processing, data lake, big data, data visualization, data science platforms, builds curated data sets, acquisition of data from traditional and new, internal and external sources, integration of data to support near-real-time to specified latency as demanded by business requirements
    • Develop and implement solutions to drive broad data self-service across the organization using enterprise data visualization platform or self-service querying tools
    • Manage to enterprise data roadmap by partnering with business and technology teams to drive execution through specific use cases
    • Establish, grow, develop and engage a lean, high-performing centralized, data engineering team to support the enterprise data capability
    • Promote and implement a high-quality customer service experience for both internal and external customers
    • Responsible for developing necessary functional and technical specifications by working with business and technical teams
    • Set strategic direction and build enterprise data governance and master data management programs with enterprise viewpoint
    • Closely partner with Enterprise Architecture team in setting/managing and adhering to enterprise data standards, practices, and enterprise reference models
    • Develop data quality metrics, identify data issues, and propose solutions to fix
    • Enable the development and implementation of data quality standards
    • Proactively identify and manage risks, opportunities, compliance issues as it pertains to enterprise data
    • Demonstrates effective and efficient strategic balancing of various stakeholder needs and opportunities across the enterprise
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Overall 10 years of experience in information technology
    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing data management teams in medium to large size companies
    • Experience with data warehouse, data marts, data virtualization tools
    • Experience with ETL, data modeling, and writing complex SQL queries
    • Experience with Big Data and modern data processing platforms 
    • Experience managing solutions leveraging on premise and Cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS)
    • Experience managing large scale, transformation programs
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • Experience with defining an overall enterprise data management, analytics and data science, business intelligence and reporting strategy and delivering against it
    • Experience working across business lines at senior leaders level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals
    • Ability to work as a leader in a diverse technical environment
    • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment to motivate teams to be aligned with organization strategic objective
    • Ability to navigate and lead organizational change and deliver results
    • Prior experience with implementation of data governance and master data management programs
    • Own technical project issues and roadblocks and make certain they are resolved in an effective and efficient manner
    • Identify and manage technical risks on the project
    • Support project’s organizational change management and communications efforts

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • At least three years of experience in automation and controls in the consumer products (food and beverage preferred) and/or industrial industries.
    • Strong knowledge with Factory Talk Suite, Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, and SLC500) PLCs, PanelView/PanelviewPlus HMIs, Industrial Communication Networks (Ethernet, EthenetI/P, DeviceNet, DH+, etc.).
    • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems and clearly communicate technical solutions for any control system challenges.
    • Familiar with automation and controls industry standards and support contacts
    • College degree preferred but not required.
