    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, DURHAM, NC

    Full Time, Full Benefits Package/PTO, Paid Holidays 

     

    SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends. 

    LOCATION: Position reports to work primarily in-person at our client site in Durham. Remote work is occasionally available; subject to change based on client needs. 

    TRAVEL: Position could include up to 25% travel to 2 local clinic sites.

     

    HealthFitness is looking for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT at our corporate client site location in DURHAM, NC. In this position, you will perform highly diversified administrative, organizational, clerical and wellness program support duties including front desk customer service, assisting employees with phone, e-mail and in-person inquires, data-entry, providing assistance for programs and special events, registration and scheduling, and assisting with program administration of our client's Fitness Club. 

     

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE 

    • High School Diploma or GED required; bonus if you have Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a business related field.
    • 2+ years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
    • Customer service experience.
    • Strong computer and typing skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to be resourceful.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of experience in web video production, with proficiency on the Avid editing platform and Canon cinema-style cameras. To produce modern, relevant programming on the University's editorial and social channels, the position requires a continually up-to-date understanding of the social media landscape, and the ability to create a range of video content: documentary-style profiles, social videos, explainers, and research-based pieces.

     

    May require work outside normal business hours. Occasional travel, as needed.
