  • Responsibilities

    The Inventory Control Clerk is a lead position and the primary responsibilities are to monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. This position is also responsible for entering raw material usage into the computer. The position also performs cycle counts of raw and finished materials on a regular basis to Assis with resolving discrepancies between raw materials received and utilized in the production process.

    • Reconcile raw materials received to raw materials on hand and correct discrepancies. • Perform cycle counts on a regular and as needed basis. • Relieve inventory by entering raw material usage in production on a daily basis in SAP. • Investigate discrepancies of inventory as needs arise. • Provide reports to supervisors and team members as needed. • Utilize forklift or hand jacks as needed to move inventory. • Any other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Ability to read in English.
    • Basic understanding of SAP
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
    • Certified Forklift Operator
    • Drivers License
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

     

     

    Required Experience

    • Work is generally performed within a manufacturing environment subjected to temperatures of cold and warm along with wearing the proper PPE, with standard office equipment available along with plant manufacturing environment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, or controls; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision to a computer screen.
