    MARKETING COORDINATOR, INDIANAPOLIS, IN

    Work in Corporate Fitness! Monday-Friday schedule, 10AM-6PM

     

    HealthFitness has an exciting opportunity for a full-time MARKETING COORDINATOR at our large corporate client site located in INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA! In this role, you will assist the management team in the concept development, graphic design, and distribution of marketing collateral and information. You'll design and oversee all marketing/promotional programs, campaigns, and strategies and manage public relations. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining timelines, budgets, the annual marketing plan, and other projects including email newsletters, website design/development, print collateral, social media, and basic video production. Client facility is located off Highway 69 in Northern Indianapolis.

     

    WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:

    • Oversees newsletter production and program website adhering to HealthFitness corporate guidelines and standards. Develops artistic marketing materials with program team for the promotion of programs and services.
    • Coordinates facility advertising including planning, budgeting and executing. Develops annual goals and objectives.
    • Delivers facility events in collaboration with program team.
    • Maintains site social media platforms. Arranges media interviews and serves as facility representative as needed.
    • Positively engages members and participants through various media.
    • Coordinates the development and manages the implementation of member retention and customer satisfaction programs.
    • Regularly interacts with members. Assists in tours and member services including phone calls to prospective and cancelled members.
    • Collaboratively assists at the front desk providing periodic cleaning and towel laundering.

     

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic or Web Design, or related field and 2+ years of direct experience.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a customer service focus. Hands on writing skills for press releases, newsletters and web content.
    • Demonstrated experience developing high-level electronic and multi-media marketing collateral including basic video production. In-depth knowledge of design software and applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign or Canva.
    • Proficiency in graphic design, web management and social networking. 
    • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association will be required within 90 days of hire.
    • Evidence of experience & ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
    • Ideal candidates will have prior fitness industry experience and knowledge of Adobe Suite, WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, Open Source CMS Video creation and editing.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

     

    • At least 2 years of laboratory experience and familiarity with basic molecular and/or cell biology techniques are required.
    • BA or BS degree in biology, biochemistry, or other life science field and basic computer skills are required.
    • Experience with microarray, next-generation sequencing, single cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics is not required but helpful.
