POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting the engineering efforts of the Vision and Data product line. Technical responsibilities include analysis and implementation of design changes for cost reductions and product improvements; concept prototyping; validation of products to support supplier transitions; release of new variants to support customer projects; technical product evaluations; creation and maintenance of product requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support central hardware and software engineering teams.
- Analyze and document results from simulation and test track experiments.
- Identify and define technical requirements for electrical or mechanical systems
- Work with manufacturing center to produce parts according to specifications. Audit manufacturing process.
- Develop field tools and processes for installation, calibration and service of these systems.
- Develop technical documentation for products.
- Release parts and technical documentation through internal systems
- Interface with customers, software developers, systems engineers and management to communicate status of projects.
- Monitored system performance in the prototyping, test and verification phase.
- Support the application of Electronic Systems for OEM customers.
- Continuously provided qualified feedback to involved development engineers and teams, in order to improve system performance.
- System design, system requirements definition, cross-product communication interfaces, product testing and release.
- Willing to travel as required up to 10%.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Microsoft Suite, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
- Knowledge of drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Basic programming languages. Python, C#, C++
- Knowledge of CAD modeling SW (SolidWorks and Creo)
- Jira and confluence
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering required

Required Experience
- Experienced working in a structed engineering environment
- Hands on mechanical, electrical, experience automotive experience a plus
- Product design experience.
- Experience in product marketing is a plus.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team in a dynamic working environment including international team members
