    The Boston University Clinical & Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) for its General Clinical Research Unit (GCRU) located at Boston University School of Medicine. The GCRU provides support for clinical research investigation and provides a controlled setting for research participants who are enrolled in clinical studies. This position requires a certified registered nurse who works with the GCRU clinical team; investigators and study teams in the implementation of the clinical studies following standards of good clinical practice, BUMC and BU policies and procedures. CRCs (nurses) at the GCRU are trained to make complex research observations and take precise specimen collections and are skilled in: Inserting intravenous lines; research methodologies and performing pharmacokinetic drug studies. CRCs are supported with certified medical assistants who are familiar and trained in research methodologies. These skilled clinicians are able to participate in groundbreaking research, while ensuring participants receive compassionate, quality care. This position will be required to assist in the implementation of COVI 19 studies through the General Clinical Research Unite (GCRU) that are part of the GCRU without walls initiative and require staff to implement studies at Boston Medical Center.
