The Director, Brand Execution and Digital Communications, oversees the development and day-to-day management and implementation of Questrom's marketing plans and content that build the Questrom brand both externally and internally with key stakeholders, with primary focus on web design and secondary focus on social media, digital, and video production implementation. Leading a team including marketing professionals, agency partners, and contracted workers, this role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Marketing & Communication. This individual will interface with faculty, program, and school leadership. They will not only work with the CMO, leading agency partners, BU Central Marcom, and Questrom IT to conceptualize and oversee the execution of Questroms web and online strategy, they will also work with CSS/HTML/JavaScript technology to provide hands on execution of approved plans. For bu.edu/Questrom, this includes all aspects of the creation and management of timely, accurate, engaging, strategically aligned, and informative brand-based content for all BU Questrom School of Business websites. Similarly, the candidate will work with the CMO to develop an overall social media strategy, using best practices and input from agency partners. They will also be experienced with leading platforms (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter) such that they can implement said strategies, making implementation efficient, seamless, integrated, and real-time. Candidate will work with the CMO to elevate the Questrom social media presence including building the Deans and Senior faculty exposure on key platforms and coordinate around strategic brand goals. The Director manages the Questrom social media channels on a day-to-day basis, including weekends and holidays, posting verbal and visual content, answering questions and comments, building and managing engagement, and utilizing the full application programming interface (API) and feature set for each social media channel. Finally, the candidate will partner with the CMO to launch the new Questrom Brand Awareness campaign, providing guidance and input.
