  • Responsibilities

    Working with PI, and other investigators on her team, who have over 15 grants between them in the areas of genetics, epidemiology, brain imaging, pathology of brain aging, stroke, dementia, Parkinsons disease, epilepsy, eye disease and gait. This person will be asked to serve as a part-time neuropsychology tester, administering and scoring various testing batteries and mood/functional assessments for FHS participants in the FHS Research Center, BUMC Biosquare Building, and at the participants' homes. They will also be responsible for seeing participants at the FHS Brain Health Station as part of the FHS Exam, approximately one week out of every three weeks for the Neurology Program. They will also be trained to draft and present cases for FHS Dementia Reviews, and will carry a 24hr brain bank pager for 8-12 weeks per year, responding to and facilitating all calls in a timely manner.

    Required Skills

    Minimum qualifications include a bachelors degree, with preference for a Masters degree in neurosciences, psychology or biology. Preference of 1-3 years of experience in clinical research or clinical operations environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work closely with study participants on a daily basis required.
