  • Responsibilities
    • Purchasing tools and parts following established procedures, and maintaining accurate
    • inventory through effective record-keeping practices.
    • Develop and maintain relationships vendors; resolve issues involving delivery timeliness,
    • quantity and quality, identify alternate supply sources, negotiate best price, and other
    • interactions as necessary to obtain supplies.
    • Place orders for maintenance parts, supplies and contract work; includes obtaining
    • prices, scheduling deliveries and writing purchase orders. Follow up with vendors as
    • necessary to ensure that parts are available to meet production needs.
    • Working closely with accounting team to insure invoice accuracy of price and quantity as
    • compared to purchase

    Required Skills

    ● High school diploma or equivalent reading, writing, verbal and mathematics skills. ● experience working in a manufacturing facility’s maintenance department ● Microsoft knowledge ( Outlook, Excel, Etc.) ● Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory control procedures ● SAP Production Software

    As needed will be required to wear extensive GMP uniforms including, Hairnets, Gloves, Lab Coats and steal toe boots. Also, may required with no exceptions to wear personal protective equipment such as cut resistant gloves, bump cap, steel mesh gloves. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours occasionally. Able to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 LBS. Work in cold, damp environment ranging in temperatures from 28 - 48 degrees.
