  • Responsibilities

    Boston University School of Public Health (SPH) is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven candidate. The Education Operations Associate will play a vital role in supporting business operations in the Education Office, working directly with the Director of Educational Initiatives on the implementation of innovative projects and events that aim to promote the school's mission. Responsibilities include administrative support, event coordination, financial records reconciliation and bills processing, and other special projects as assigned. Candidates for the position should have excellent administrative and event coordination skills, financial management, synthesis and reporting skills, as well as possess superior organizational skills, excelling in attention to detail, time management, written and verbal communication skills.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for all business operations in the Education Office, including but not limited to financial/bills payment, data management, data analytics, and reporting, scheduling management, event programming support, and administrative support of projects.

    Responsible for supporting the Director of Educational Initiatives with meeting and event administration. Support school-wide committee meetings and events, including staffing appropriately

    Responsible for special projects assigned by the Director of Educational Initiatives.

    Required Skills

    Bachelors degree required. 3-5 years of relevant experience Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the entire Microsoft Office Suite Event coordination skills Ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment.
