    Job Title: Grill Cook | Full-Time Sea Salt Restaurant – Naples, FL

    Position Overview Sea Salt is seeking a skilled and motivated Grill Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about cooking and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining an efficient workstation, and upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Food Preparation – Prep ingredients and assist with cooking a variety of menu items while ensuring consistency, quality, and attractive presentation.
    • Station Management – Oversee your assigned grill station—maintaining speed, organization, and excellent output during service.
    • Quality Control – Monitor the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes, making adjustments as needed to meet restaurant standards.
    • Cleanliness & Sanitation – Keep all kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety guidelines.
    • Inventory Support – Assist with inventory management, proper food storage, and waste reduction. Communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
    • Team Collaboration – Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to coordinate preparation and timing for efficient, timely service.
    • Recipe Compliance – Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and preparation procedures to ensure consistent flavor and cost control.
    • Adaptability – Adjust to changes in menu items, workflow, and kitchen operations as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Experience – 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred; familiarity with specific cuisines is a plus.
    • Culinary Skills – Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
    • Communication – Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
    • Teamwork – Positive attitude and strong collaborative skills.
    • Time Management – Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand for long periods.
    • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Manual dexterity for operating kitchen tools and equipment.
    • Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen.
