About the Role:

BLAZIN CHICKEN JC LLC is looking for a skilled and passionate Grill Man to join our team in Jersey City, NJ! If you love the heat of the kitchen and take pride in serving up perfectly grilled, mouth-watering chicken, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Operate and manage grill station to cook chicken and other menu items to order

Monitor grill temperatures and ensure proper cooking times for food safety and quality

Season, marinate, and prepare chicken and proteins prior to service

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grill station throughout each shift

Work efficiently during high-volume rushes to ensure timely food preparation

Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and regulations

Communicate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

Prior experience as a grill cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred

Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment

Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Food handler certification is a plus
