Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Grinder Operator with strong mechanical aptitude to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating grinding equipment, performing quality checks, making machine adjustments to maintain specifications, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Read and use a micrometer for precise measurements
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality and tolerances
• Clean and maintain grinding equipment as needed
• Monitor production and report mechanical or quality concerns
• Follow safety and production procedures

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or strong mechanical aptitude required
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and use measuring tools such as a micrometer
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
