    About the Role

    We are hiring a Grinding Department Technician for a hands-on manufacturing position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

    You will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding equipment, monitoring the machining process, and ensuring finished parts meet quality requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate grinding equipment
    • Prepare machines for production runs
    • Load and unload materials and finished parts
    • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy
    • Monitor grinding operations and production quality
    • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
    • Use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions
    • Identify and address equipment or production issues
    • Follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions
    • Maintain accurate production and quality records as required
    • Perform basic machine care and housekeeping
    • Keep the grinding area clean, organized, and safe
    • Follow all safety procedures and company standards

    Qualifications

    • Previous grinding, machine operation, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
    • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
    • Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Good math and measurement skills
    • Ability to read and follow written instructions
    • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
    • Reliable and self-motivated
    • Strong commitment to quality and accuracy
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
