Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven individual who is dedicated to our company’s success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records for accounts receivable and payables. Grip is looking for a driven candidate that is driven by personal and professional success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supports the Controller in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
• Manages all accounts receivables and payables for the company.
• Support month-end closes processes and consolidations.
• Provide customer service to our customers and handle the collections process.
• Lead process improvement activities related to all accounting functions as required.
• Handle payables weekly check run.
• Handle cash and check deposits
• Reporting daily cash receipts
• Entering all incoming payables
• Responsible for high volume receivable and maintaining accurate accounts payable ledger
• Reconcile accounting records, credit cards, and monthly statements.
• Assist in additional accounting duties across shared entities as needed.
• Transactional data input for multiple companies.
• Analyze financial data and statements.
• Other related accounting duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related programs.
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Adapt to different accounting software systems.
• A willingness and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge with stashstock, Metrc preferred.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
