About the Role:

Redondo Beach Grocery Outlet is looking for an energetic and experienced Grocery Manager to lead our store team and keep our shelves stocked, organized, and thriving. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll play a key part in delivering an outstanding shopping experience for our community. Responsibilities:

Oversee daily grocery department operations including stocking, rotation, and merchandising

Lead, schedule, and develop a team of grocery associates to meet store goals

Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage vendor relationships

Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO) and maintain department cleanliness and safety standards

Analyze sales data and shrink reports to drive department performance and profitability

Collaborate with store management on promotions, displays, and seasonal merchandising

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

2+ years of grocery retail management or supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of grocery merchandising, inventory control, and product ordering

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Must be electric pallet jack and forklift certified
