About the Role:

Grocery Outlet Mt. Airy is looking for a motivated and experienced Evening Manager to lead our team during closing operations in Philadelphia, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of store performance, inspire a hardworking crew, and keep our shelves stocked and customers happy. Responsibilities:

Oversee all evening store operations, including closing procedures and end-of-day reporting

Supervise, coach, and motivate evening shift associates to ensure productivity and excellent customer service

Monitor and maintain proper stocking, rotation, and presentation of merchandise

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and store security standards

Manage cash handling, register closeouts, and daily sales reconciliation

Coordinate with department leads to ensure smooth shift transitions and adequate staffing coverage

Requirements:

2+ years of retail or grocery management experience preferred

Proven ability to lead, delegate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, solution-oriented attitude

Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and end-of-day closing procedures

Knowledge of food safety regulations and grocery merchandising best practices

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Strong organizational and communication skills
