Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities: • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach • Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs • Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships Qualifications: • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • High school diploma or GED is required Compensation: $20 - $40 hourly
