Objectives: Ground Control Systems is looking for an Installation Apprentice to help with the installation of bike racks/bike docks/ or any other product we are contracted to install. Must successfully demonstrate the skills necessary for fundamental tasks/activities when installing materials. Over time, they will progress into a skilled knowledgeable foreman with the capabilities to run their own projects, do job-walks, and quote jobs appropriately. (1-2 Yrs.). Job Duties and Functions: * Preparing Tools and Materials for jobs. * Running routine checkups and sign-offs on tools, and vehicles. * Responsible for any Shop-work (preparing materials for contracted jobs.) * Follow instructions and take into mind the necessary activities and duties when on-site. * Clean any company vehicle(s) after completing a job. * Ensure all trash and Company tools and extra materials are accounted for before finishing a job. * Report any issues or obstruction to the on-site manager or Contractor. * Follow safety protocol when performing job activities/duties. * Bid Running * Update/Maintain licensing in various states * Assist in the Warehouse. Preparing orders for Shipments and helping achieve order fulfillment. * May be required to travel and work overtime hours and in some cases work over weekends. * Must be on time for projects and work, treat customers and other on-site contacts with the utmost respect. * Show initiative on simple duties and tasks. * Promote the Brand: Installation Apprentices should embody the cultural values Ground Control Systems Promotes. Skills and Qualifications: * High School Diploma or Equivalent. * 1-2 Years of Experience preferred in Construction Trades. * General Use of tools including, but not limited to: tools, power tools, and safety equipment. * Must have an active Drivers License with a clean drivers record. * Thorough understanding of job safety and safety protocol. * Ability to lift material that weighs over 100 Lbs. * Treat all fellow employees with the utmost respect, avoid conflict in the workplace. * Ability to Communicate W/ Variety of clients, Vendors, Co-workers * Display problem-solving abilities.
