    Sports Performance Intern Ground Force Strength & Conditioning - Orange Park, FL 32065 Internship Ground Force Strength & Conditioning Internship Program Ground Force Strength & Conditioning is currently a private Strength & Conditioning company that clients can depend on. Our mission as a brand is to develop the youth athlete in a holistic tools and experience needed to succeed. Our internship program hires 2 of the regions most passionate and committed individuals interested in gaining the knowledge and experience to develop themselves and inspire others. This internship is for individuals looking to better the fitness industry as Personal Trainers, or a Track Path to a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach or any other Exercise Science Field. Under the direct supervision and guidance of our lead trainers, Sports Performance or Therapists, you will have the opportunity to observe and learn how to coach a very diverse group of people. Furthermore, you will leave this internship with the knowledge and ability to immediately begin training and coaching at a high level. Although, our internship program only hires three times a year (January, May, and August,) we are always accepting resumes and inquiries. In addition, the Ground Force Strength & Conditioning internship program is very comprehensive and exposes you to many areas in the fitness industry. Below are some of the highlights that you will experience during your internship: Total of 500+ hours of instruction with the Ground Force Strength & Conditioning Youth Athlete Training Curriculum in addition to administrative and marketing strategies in a 16-week internship that includes: * Team Training (10- 60 people) * Private Training (1:1) * Introduction to the Functional Movement Screening * Introduction to the Long Term Athletic Development Model * Overall understanding of a basic dynamic warm-up, corrective exercise, and self-myofascial release * Introduction to Lumbar Pelvic Hip Complex * Introduction to Shoulder Complex * Proper guidance towards attaining the right certifications and continuing education components * A 16-week course that includes reading, writing, and video reviews * Weekly hands-on learning * Development of phone and communication skills

    • Development of sales skills The Ground Force Strength & Conditioning internship will require a minimum of 30 hours a week, including a mandatory 30-minute weekly meeting.
