Job Summary

We are seeking a Groundskeeper/housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will trim trees and hedges, mow and manicure laws, maintain gardens, keep pathways and parking lot clear, clean the Clubhouse, Managers office, and laundromat weekly. Ultimately, your goal is to keep the facility’s surroundings beautiful, safe, and inviting. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscaping.

Responsibilities:

Fertilize, mow, weed, and edge lawn areas

Maintain garden areas, including pruning, weeding, and mulching

Trim hedges, bushes, and trees

Maintain clean pathways and parking lot

Garbage duty two times weekly

Ensure outdoor areas are protected from inclement weather

Operate power mowers, as well as other landscaping equipment

Schedule any required specialized services

Clean the Clubhouse, Managers office, and laundromat weekly

Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Must have good communication skills and able to work with minimal supervision

Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery

Understanding of sprinkler systems

Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening techniques

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and push heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
