Position Overview

Sustain Lawn and Landscape is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining residential and commercial properties throughout the Lansing area.

This role involves performing lawn maintenance landscape upkeep and general outdoor property services as part of a professional field crew.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors staying active and contributing to a team that takes pride in maintaining attractive and well cared for properties.

Job Responsibilities

Perform mowing trimming and edging services on residential and commercial properties Maintain landscape beds and general property appearance Operate commercial lawn care and landscaping equipment Assist with seasonal property services and landscape maintenance Load unload and transport tools materials and equipment Follow scheduled service routes with the crew Maintain safe and organized work areas Assist with fall cleanups spring property preparation and seasonal work Support snow removal operations during winter months when needed

Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting bending and walking Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Previous landscaping lawn care or property maintenance experience Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment Valid drivers license

Work Environment

Outdoor work performed in changing weather conditions Frequent walking lifting bending and standing Use of powered landscaping equipment and tools

Compensation and Benefits

$16 to $18 dollars per hour based on experience
