The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.

    The Groundskeeper/Housekeeper is a key part of our maintenance team who plays a large role in keeping resident satisfaction high by ensuring the grounds and common areas of the community are clean and inviting. The Groundskeeper/Housekeeper also assists the maintenance team with assigned tasks, including light maintenance or cleaning of common areas.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensuring the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met. The areas of responsibility include the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal
    • Providing support to LR Management service team members
    • Inspecting the exterior of the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste
    • Ensuring all interior common areas and amenities of the property are neat and free of litter at all times
    • Removing trash and remaining items from vacant apartments and dispose of the items properly, whether in the dumpster or storage area prior to Maintenance Technicians beginning the make-ready process.
    • Cleaning and maintaining storage areas
    • Completing assigned minor and routine service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager
    • Assisting the make-ready specialist in the turn process.
    • Changing all locks in accordance with the property's policy and ensuring gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
    • Distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary

    Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • The ability to carry up to 40 pounds
